Dragonflies have held a special place in my heart for many years. After my husband, Boomer, passed away, a dragonfly appeared nearby, and wouldn’t leave. It hovered, flitting around us, almost as if it were trying to join our conversation. My mom smiled and said, “That’s Boomer listening.” From that day on, dragonflies became a symbol of love, hope, and the quiet reminder that those we love are never truly gone.
Dragonfly Creations was born from that hope. Every painting is created with the hope of bringing a little peace, beauty, and light into your home.

Meet the Artist
Growing up in the rolling hills and wheat country of Eastern Oregon, I found peace in quiet country roads, wide open skies, and the beauty of nature. Those landscapes still inspire every painting I create today.
Although I’ve always loved art, I never imagined I would become a painter. In 2020, during the COVID shutdown, I picked up a paintbrush for the very first time. Armed with YouTube videos, determination, and a lot of encouragement from my mom, I discovered a passion that changed my life.
Painting became more than learning a new skill—it became a way to heal, to hope, and to find beauty again. Every canvas reminds me that even after difficult seasons, light still finds its way back.
Today, I paint peaceful landscapes that invite people to slow down, breathe deeply, and bring a little calm into their homes. My greatest hope is that each piece offers the same sense of peace I found while creating it.
